This is a great salad.
1 cups wild rice
2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups diced ham

1/2 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar

- Cook the wild rice according to package instructions using the water and the salt.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice, celery, onions, peas, walnuts, and cranberries together.
- In a small bowl, make the dressing by whisking the mayonnaise, yogurt, lemon juice, and sugar together.
- Fold the dressing into the salad. Chill completely before serving. This makes a large salad—eight to ten servings.
