Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 15 ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained

6 ounces of chicken broth or water
1 8 ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained

1 package boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts (or both), about two pounds
1 pound fettuccine or linguini noodles

grated pecorino roman or parmesan cheese
Directions
4. Serve the chicken cacciatore over top of the noodles, with a side salad or vegetables.Sprinkle grated pecorino romano or parmesan cheese on top of chicken and pasta or noodles
Directions
1. Prepare the sauce in the base of the slow cooker by stirring together the olive oil, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, broth or water, mushrooms, onions, garlic cloves, Italian seasonings and salt and pepper, sugar.
2. Add the chicken to the sauce in the slow cooker and spoon over the sauce on top of the chicken . Set the slow cooker on low and cook for eight hours.
3. Just before the chicken is finished cooking, prepare the fettuccine or linguine noodles as directed on the package.
4. Serve the chicken cacciatore over top of the noodles, with a side salad or vegetables.Sprinkle grated pecorino romano or parmesan cheese on top of chicken and pasta or noodles
