You have to make this unique casserole recipe of mine.....The combination of Pineapple, Rice and Cheese really makes it special......Everyone loves it!...It goes well with baked ham, chicken, turkey, pork, and even fish dishes........Something different and very enjoyable!!
ROSIE'S "WOW" CASSEROLE:
2 CUPS UNCOOKED INSTANT RICE
6 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
1 LARGE CAN OF CRUSHED OR TIBIT PINEAPPLE, UNDRAINED
5 TABLESPOONS BROWN SUGAR
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
8 - 12 OZ. PACKAGE OF SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE
PREPARE INSTANT RICE IN MICROWAVE ACCORDING TO PACKAGE DIRECTIONS.
STIR BUTTER INTO HOT COOKED RICE....ADD THE PINEAPPLE UNDRAINED, BROWN SUGAR AND SALT....SPOON INTO A GREASED SHALLOW 2 QT. BAKING DISH.
SPRINKLE WITH CHEESE AND BAKE 375 DEGREES FOR APROX. 20 MINUTES UNTIL
HEATED THROUGH AND CHEESE IS MELTED..........REALLY GOOD...ENJOY!!!!
