Lemon Basil Garlic Butter


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, soft

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl. 
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Scoop into the center of a large piece of plastic wrap.  Fold over one side of the plastic wrap and roll mixture into a log.  Roll up the rest of the plastic around the log and refrigerate for at least one hour to firm up.
  4. Slice into 1/4-inch rounds and place in a decorative bowl.  Serve with your favorite breakfasts breads and pastries.
