Naughty and Nice Nut Mix

Rosie's Tidbit:

This nut mix is soooo good, and when you give it as a homemade holiday, it will be gobbled up! Any combination of nuts will work for the recipe - just make sure you use 4 cups total.

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 cups almonds
• 1 1/4 cups pecans
• 1 1/2 cups cashews, unsalted
• ¼ cup butter
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
• 1 teaspoon cayenne, optional

Directions

1. Cover a baking sheet  in parchment paper and set aside.  Place all nuts in a large skillet, and toast lightly over medium-high heat.  Add the butter, sugar and spices and cook until the butter and sugar are melted and the nuts are well coated.  Transfer the nuts to the prepared pan and let cool completely.
