Cornbread Waffles to serve your Chili on…..Ingredients1 1/2 cups cornmeal2 1/2 cups milk2 cups all-purpose flour1 tablespoon baking powder1 teaspoon salt2/3 cup white sugar2 eggs1/2 cup vegetable oilDirectionsMix cornmeal and milk in a large bowl and let sit for 5 minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour a portion of cornbread mixture into pre-heated waffle maker. Wait 4 to 5 minutes until cornbread is cooked and golden.(I doubled this recipe)Serve warm chili over cornbread - garnish with grated cheese and sour cream (or greek yogurt)!
