Frozen Peanut Butter Cup Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 3 oz dark chocolate (70% cacao), chopped
- 3 oz peanut butter cups, chopped
- 2 Tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1-1/2 cups milk, divided
- 1 Tbsp good quality hot chocolate mix
- 2-1/2 cups ice
- Whipped cream (optional garnish)
- Chocolate sauce (optional garnish)
- Peanut butter cups, chopped (optional garnish)
Preparation:
- Mix the dark chocolate, peanut butter cups, sugar, and 1/2 cup of milk in a microwave-safe bowl and cook in 20-second intervals, stirring occasionally until melted and evenly incorporated. Add the hot chocolate mix and stir until thoroughly blended. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and allow it to cool.
- Place the remaining cup of milk, the cooled chocolate mixture, and the ice into a blender and mix until completely smooth. Pour the beverage into milkshake glasses, and top each with whipped cream, more peanut butter cups, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce...
